Final HUSL Mock Up

DESIGN APPROACH

The composition draws from a vintage graphic tee featuring Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., and Nelson Mandela, reinterpreted through three influential Howard Law alumni: Thurgood Marshall, Charles Hamilton Houston, and Pauli Murray. The phrase “Social Engineer” frames their work, while a Black Power fist and the HUSL—or “hustle”—wordplay connect the school’s legacy to a bold, contemporary piece of merchandise.
