Akile Butler is a Baltimore-based multidisciplinary creative working across graphic design, branding, apparel, creative direction and experiential design. His ideas move between graphics, garments, and physical spaces.

Through my independent practice and building 1KG®, I take a hands-on approach from first sketch to finished work. I’ve contributed to projects with The Wharton School, Baltimore City Waterfront Partnership, Howard University, and more.

My design language is shaped by culture, my personal interests, and how people interact with what I create. I make work with character and a clear idea behind it, whether someone encounters it on a screen, wears it out, or walks into it.
